Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures
- Prepare operating rooms with necessary supplies and ensure all safety protocols are followed
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes promptly
- Collaborate with surgical teams, including surgeons and anesthesiologists, to deliver optimal patient care
- Maintain accurate documentation related to patient care and surgical procedures
- Adhere to infection control standards and hospital policies
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Proven experience working in an Operating Room environment
- Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing principles and practices
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and preferably Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
